Bang Street Food. 85sqm. 2015. Surry Hills
Bang is a 60 seat restaurant housed in a brick warehouse and inspired by the Bengal Tiger. The open kitchen is enclosed by a black-tiled bar. Surrounding it are long communal tables and more intimate configurations. In the stairway, a bright neon sign casts a glow over the restaurant’s street entrance. The restrained interiors are punctuated by Arne Jacobsen plates that spell out B.A.N.G. on tables.
